The transparency of political donations made by the food, tobacco, beverage companies ranked below pharmaceutical, petroleum, and financial according to an index published by Robert Zicklin Centre for Corporate Integrity at Baruch College.
It would be interesting to learn where political money from food, tobacco and beverage companies ends up. Especially since we already suffered through at least 3 major e coli outbreaks this past year and there are new, tougher regulations on cigarette advertising.
